The Save the Stories chapter is a video series that will highlight the lives of people from various communities,
THIS VISION IS AT THE HEART OF MY WORK, THE PLACE WHERE MY FIERY PASSION LIVES, AND THE REASON WHY I QUIT MY JOB AS A NURSE. MY LIFE’S GREATEST WORK IS SHARING STORIES THAT NEED TO BE TOLD.
We want to feature refugees, veterans, people who are disabled, addicts, people silently suffering within marginalized groups,
and other hidden heroes.
After spending the last five years interviewing and recording life stories of elders, I witnessed the power of listening. I saw firsthand how powerful, personal stories brought people together and created a much-needed intergenerational bridge. This work has shed light on older generations that are often overlooked.
There are many communities around us that go unnoticed; individuals whose stories need to be told—that’s why the Save the Stories chapter was born.
We need your help. These episodes are expensive to film, edit, curate, and produce in a way that does justice to the stories shared.
